Rewards Terms and Conditions

Definition:

UPI

UPI Payments” means Unified Payment Interface (UPI) based payment facilities offered to you/User by your Issuing Bank or Beneficiary Bank (i.e., pay someone (push) or collect from someone (collect or pull) transaction), that are enabled on the App to enable a User to make UPI based payments through the App.

Reward Program

Rewards is a feature provided by Kotak 811 to its customers on the new Mobile App, rewarding them for conducting UPI transactions other actions as may be specified by Kotak 811 from time to time. The rewards offered can be within the options of cashback and offers on specific merchants and every time a reward or an offer would be available. In some instances, customers will receive a message a message indicating “better luck next time”. 

Expiry 

The rewards won from milestones, surprises and jackpot gets expired on the last day of the calendar month irrespective of the day the rewards were allocated incase the member doesn’t redeem the rewards. The milestones gets allocated every first day of the calendar month to the eligible customer.

Eligible Customers:

  • Kotak811 reward program shall be applicable to 811 customers owning FKYC who engage in UPI transactions through 811 Mobile Application
  • Kotak811 reward program shall be applicable to all Debit Transactions (P2P and P2M) initiated through 811 Mobile Application 
  • FKYC can earn rewards only on UPI transaction done on Kotak811 app.

Terms and Conditions applicable to the Kotak Bank Rewards Scheme and vouchers:

 I agree/understand and accept:

  • Kotak 811 FKYC and OTP account holders are eligible for Kotak rewards, promotions and privileges which will be provided by Kotak 811 and their partners from time to time.
  • The fulfilment of the voucher is the sole responsibility of the merchant/partner and may be subject to additional terms on the merchant's/partner’s website. The issues redeeming this voucher, shall be handled by the merchant/partner.
  • Kotak retains the right to award cashback to its eligible customers who complete UPI debit transactions, up to a maximum amount of 250 INR per month.      
  • Within 72 hours of the customer scratching the card, Kotak Bank maintains the right to credit the cashback.
  • Kotak is not responsible for any goods or services that i/we purchase or receive from the merchant/partner, for fulfilment or your use of this voucher, or for the content of the merchant's/Partner’s website.
  • Kotak is not responsible for any device or technical limitation or errors that limit the ability to redeem this voucher.
  • Voucher is valid for one time use.
  • This voucher is not transferable, non- refundable, and cannot be resold or redeemed for cash.
  • I/We shall be solely liable for all the applicable taxes and compliance in connection with the use, gift, or receipt of the voucher.
  • Bank reserves the right at all time to withdraw/ discontinue the Kotak Rewards Program and revoke any accrued Points, without any prior notice to the customer.
  • Kotak rewards programme will not be accessible to customers holding wallet account, accounts which are marked freeze and if the card is in block status.
  • Kotak rewards program for member is automatically terminated upon death or bankruptcy of the Member and upon membership termination, all rewards accrued in the Kotak rewards account (as defined below) shall expire immediately and the membership shall  stand closed.
  • This program shall remain in force till such time till unless, terminated by the Bank.
  • That, Bank at its discretion terminate or close the program. The Bank shall in no way be responsible to provide any reason for closure or termination.

Disclaimer 

  • Kotak reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to decide whether the customer qualifies 811 reward program for earning cashback from UPI transaction.
  • 811 reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to change the mode of accrual of one or any of the rewards offering will change the offering coming under the rewards program811 reserves the right to disqualify any User, who does not meet the offer requirements or for any other reason including but not limited to any misuse of the offer or on the ground of fraud or suspicious transaction/activity or under any legal/statutory requirement or applicable rules and regulations
  •  811 reserves the right to discontinue or change or issue any new form of loyalty points offered at any time, at its sole discretion.
  •  811 may  also at its discretion specify an expiry period for the scratch card. Kotak 811 can change the expiry period during time to time based on the business needs.

General Provisions

  •  Kotak Bank reserves the right to modify/change all or any of the terms and conditions applicable to the Program without assigning any reasons and/or without any prior intimation whatsoever to the Customers. Kotak Bank also reserves the right to discontinue the Kotak Bank Rewards Schemes without assigning any reasons or without any prior intimation whatsoever. Nothing contained herein shall amount to a commitment or representation by Kotak Bank to continue the Kotak Bank Rewards Schemes
  • The Terms and Conditions shall be in addition to and not in substitution/derogation of the Primary Terms and Conditions.
  • Any changes to these Terms and Conditions of Use or any terms posted on this site apply as soon as they are posted.
  • Kotak 811 shall not be responsible for any change, discontinuation, suspension or any other content posted on this site, including features and specifications of products or services described or depicted on the website, temporarily or permanently, at any time, without notice by the Merchant.
  • By continuing to use this site after any changes are posted, you are indicating your acceptance of those changes.
  • Kotak 811 and the participating merchants/partners if any, reserve the right to undertake all necessary steps to ensure that the security, safety and integrity of company's systems as well as its clients’ and users/customers’ interests are well-protected.
